The first 44 bytes are wav headers followed by the sound data. VLF sound of Kagoshima is stored at 2 bytes /sample, one channel, 20kHz and corresponds to the magnetic field variation in the E-W direction. VLF sound of Athabasca is stored at 2 bytes /sample, 4 channels,100kHz. Channel 1 of Athabasca is the magnetic field variation in the N-S direction,and channel 2 for the E-W direction.
